Cecile will be demonstrating an easy way to do a zipper between 2 pieces of fabric and Kayley will be sharing with us her applique technique.  This will be fun!

Flying Geese Show at Soka University
Please bring your quilts that you will be displaying at the show.  Bunnie would like them for Friday Setup.  Don't forget the sleeve.  Additionally, we still need volunteers for Sunday.

 

Thanksgiving Challenge –
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, our challenge will be a philanthropy challenge.  An opportunity to give back to the community.  The quilt you make for this challenge will be given to a charity for the holidays and you can still WIN a prize.  The theme is Storybook – choose a book for a child or a young adult and make a quilt based on the book. The minimum size 36 x 48.  This challenge is due at our NOVEMBER 19^th Meeting!  (This is a date change due to the Thanksgiving Holiday)  Mark your calendar and your participation in this incredible opportunity.
