Pillowcase for Philanthropy

At last months meeting, Kathy demonstrated how to make the pillowcase from in American Patchwork and Quilting.  Thank you, Kathy!.

So we thought in addition to donating quilts to our charity, we would donating some really nice pillowcase to the charity we choose.

Here are the supplies needed:

• 3/4 yard of fabric
• 1/4 yard of another fabric
• 2' of a third fabric

The Missouri Star Quilt Company took it a step further and posted a tutorial on YouTube on how to make the pillowcases. The tutorial is great for visual instructions, just click the link below.

There are a couple of options to help us meet this goal:

1. Make one or a few pillowcases on your own.
2. Donate Fabric from your stash.
3. Come to the sew on the 21st and make some.
